Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery / Med-Surg

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery nursing care, with the majority of time (approximately 75%) dedicated to med-surg patients
• Maintain a 1:1 OB patient ratio and a 1:3 med-surg patient ratio (1:4 ratio possible during cold/flu season)
• Utilize CPSI and Perigen electronic charting systems
• Deliver patient care consistent with critical access hospital standards and protocols
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – Missouri or Compact state license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery specialty
• Prior critical access hospital experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with CPSI and/or Perigen charting platforms
• Comfort and flexibility working across both OB and med-surg patient populations
• Experience managing variable patient ratios in a low-volume delivery setting
