Travel RN – ICU / CCU (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined ICU/CCU setting with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures including central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside tracheostomies, and chest tube insertions
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with supervisors and patient care technicians (PCTs) present on every shift
• Adhere to every-other-weekend scheduling requirements and float to other units as needed

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of hospital experience
• 2+ years of ICU/CCU specialty experience
• Active, unrestricted RN license — temporary licenses will not be accepted
• BLS certification (current)
• ACLS certification (current)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• CCRN or TCRN certification
