Contract | 26-week assignment | 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights) | Expected 36 hours/week (72 hours biweekly, not inclusive of on-call time)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour monitoring and advanced nursing care in a high-acuity cardiothoracic intensive care unit
• Care for patients recovering from complex heart, lung, and vascular surgeries
• Manage patients with severe cardiac and/or respiratory conditions
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and care coordination
• Function effectively within a Level 1 Trauma hospital environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2–3 years of total RN experience, with at least 2 years in a CT/CVICU setting
• ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility required
• Proficiency with EPIC required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with complex post-operative cardiac and thoracic surgical patients
• Familiarity with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and vascular support devices
