Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Every Other Weekend Coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including stroke/TIA, seizure, syncope, pneumonia, chest pain, CHF, sepsis, acute kidney failure, respiratory failure, encephalopathy, and post-heart catheterization
• Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
• Perform and support specialized procedures including peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation
• Maintain a strong focus on patient experience in a high-acuity med-surg and stroke/TIA inpatient setting
• Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census and demonstrated competencies
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry unit
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• No first-time travelers; prior travel nursing experience required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible at full rate; candidates between 50–99.9 miles may be considered at a reduced rate for night shift positions in this specialty

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for stroke, TIA, or neurological patient populations
• Familiarity with peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation procedures
• Experience in high-acuity medical-surgical environments with staffing ratios of 1:6
