Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a short-term acute care facility
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5
• Float between units as needed to support staffing requirements across the facility
• Work weekend shifts as required (6 shifts per 6-week period)
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Complete required facility modules prior to and during orientation on a non-billable basis

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical RN experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals may be considered under separate terms)
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission — post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs and Leads accepted)
• Facility does not accept candidates with background hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly complex acute care environment
• Demonstrated flexibility with floating between units or sister facilities
• Experience working 48-hour weeks when operationally needed
