Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Rotating Weekends | Projected Start: October 12, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an Oncology/Transplant & Cellular Therapy unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy in accordance with unit protocols and safety standards
- Support and participate in bone marrow transplant (BMT) procedures and post-transplant care
- Perform blood administration and cardiac monitoring using telemetry equipment
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Float to med/surg as needed based on unit staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas or a valid Multi-State Compact License
- ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification (required; candidates without this certification will not be considered)
- BLS certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Demonstrated experience with chemo/biotherapy administration
- BMT/bone marrow transplant experience
- Hematology experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ONCC Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or equivalent oncology nursing certification
- ACLS certification
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Compassionate, resilient, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player with strong critical thinking skills
