Contract | Rotating Days and Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day: 7:00–19:30 / Night: 19:00–7:30

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with potential to float to additional units serving the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage, working at least every other holiday as scheduled
• Complete orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate, achieving an acceptable score on both
• Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency requirements and facility-assigned modules as applicable

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license required at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required — co-worker references will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry experience with demonstrated ECG rhythm recognition skills
• Experience in a high-volume acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with electronic medication administration and safety assessment tools
