Contract | Day Shift | 5x8 Hours | 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM | Typical Tuesday–Saturday schedule, rotation possible | 20-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing and analysis in accordance with facility protocols and regulatory standards
• Accurately document and report test results in a timely manner
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, ensuring quality control procedures are followed
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support patient care through reliable diagnostic information
• May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities as needed
• Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active California state laboratory license required; must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical laboratory experience
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• All time-off requests and specific scheduling needs must be submitted upfront at the time of submittal
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility; locals are accepted
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or acute care laboratory setting
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems and electronic documentation
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to rotating schedules and varied laboratory workflows
