Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting during overnight shifts
• Deliver care to a correctional/prison population; must be comfortable working in this environment
• Participate in the facility's holiday rotation, working 3 of 6 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Complete required HealthStream competency exams within designated compliance deadlines prior to or at start of contract
• Complete pre-start orientation modules as assigned (non-billable, generally up to 2 hours)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Active RN license: Valid Tennessee state license or compact multi-state license required at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• CPI certification required (MAB accepted in lieu of CPI)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working with correctional or forensic patient populations
• Familiarity with HealthStream competency exam processes
• Demonstrated ability to arrange schedule swaps and work collaboratively within a team environment
