Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 8 or 12 Week Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings, with a focus on pediatric patients at a high-acuity Level 4 care environment
• Deliver advanced respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric populations requiring intensive monitoring and intervention
• May float to additional NICU and pediatric rehabilitation locations as operationally needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all facility compliance, scheduling, and competency requirements
• Complete required onsite and agency fingerprinting prior to and at the start of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• NBRC certification required — active and in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required — active and in hand at time of submission
• Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required, with demonstrated experience in PEDS, PICU, and NICU (high-acuity Level 4)
• All required certifications must be active — nothing pending will be accepted
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start date and updated annually
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from assignments worked within the past 12 months, are required — co-worker references will not be accepted
• Locals are welcome to apply at the standard rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 4 NICU or high-acuity PICU environment
• Familiarity with cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) respiratory care protocols for pediatric patients
• Experience floating across multiple care settings or facilities
