Respiratory Therapist – Pediatrics / Neuro Diagnostics

Memphis, TN | Acute Care – Children's Hospital, Level I Pediatric Trauma Center

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in a pediatric acute care environment, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients
• Deliver care within a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, requiring adaptability to high-acuity situations
• Operate on a night shift schedule with weekend availability as needed
• Adhere to facility compliance standards, including documentation, credentialing, and holiday coverage expectations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support pediatric patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required — CRT credentials are not accepted
• Active Tennessee state license required at time of submission — must be in compliance with NLC guidelines; pending licenses are not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience required
• Pediatric experience required
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment — first-time travelers are not eligible
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system preferred
• Familiarity with high-acuity pediatric trauma environments
