Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift | 11:00 PM – 11:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment, assessing and triaging patients upon arrival
• Initiate and manage emergency interventions, including IV access, medication administration, and cardiac monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient treatment plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina or a compact state license that authorizes practice in North Carolina
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (11:00 PM – 11:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
• Familiarity with high-volume or Level I/II trauma center environments
• Experience with electronic health record systems commonly used in acute care settings
