Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process across all areas of the Emergency Department
• Assess patients upon admission and continuously throughout their stay
• Administer IV medications, IV therapy, and blood products as indicated
• Provide patient and family education related to care, treatment, and discharge planning
• Document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
• Serve in charge nurse and preceptor roles when needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing — no hits or actions on license or background
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting
• At least 1 year of critical care nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume emergency center with a dedicated chest pain unit
• Prior experience in charge nurse or preceptor roles within an ED environment
