Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Weekend rotation required | Holidays required based on unit needs
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to other units within scope of practice as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Participate in weekend rotation and holiday coverage based on unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kansas or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- ENPC certification required
- New graduates are not eligible for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- 1 or more years of travel nursing experience
