Cardiac Cath Lab Tech – Travel Contract
Location
El Paso, TX | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | On-Call Required (Rotating, Including Weekends)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiac diagnostic procedures, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and peripheral vascular angiogram/angioplasty in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Support Electrophysiology (EP) studies and procedures within a dedicated EP Lab
- Assist with advanced interventions including Impella, IABP, thrombectomy, and device implants
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and deliver high-quality patient care throughout all procedures
- Utilize Meditech EMR system for accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule, including weekends
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Ability to fulfill on-call obligations as part of a rotating schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- RCIS or RCES certification preferred
- Experience with EP lab procedures and hybrid lab environments
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
- Experience with advanced cardiac support devices such as Impella and IABP
