Travel RN – Emergency Department

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM | Every other weekend expected

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio across a 30-bed unit with additional hall beds
• Perform NIH stroke assessments, IV placement, and blood draws
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation and TNK therapy
• Operate and interpret cardiac monitoring equipment
• Utilize Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, and portable EKG machines
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC certification
• Experience with moderate sedation and thrombolytic therapy administration
• Demonstrated compassion and empathy in a fast-paced emergency care environment
• Strong team-player mentality with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary staff
