Registered Nurse – Pediatric/Neonatal Critical Care Transport (Flight/Ground)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required | No call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care transport nursing for neonatal and pediatric patients via ground transportation throughout the Seattle area
• Collaborate with a transport team including Respiratory Therapists and Advanced Practice Providers to safely transfer patients from surrounding hospitals, ERs, L&D units, and NICUs to a higher level of care
• Assess, stabilize, and monitor critically ill infants and pediatric patients during transport
• May float to serve as a bedside nurse in the NICU, PICU, or general Pediatrics units as needed
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, and PALS
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in neonatal or pediatric critical care transport
• Experience in ground transportation is required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard travel candidate (locals may be considered under separate terms)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience
• Prior experience working across NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics settings
• Flexibility to float between sister facilities within the contracted region
