Contract | Full-Time | Days | 5×8-hour shifts | Expected 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Complete required clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility standards
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized patient treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and any changes in condition
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients throughout the course of treatment

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required; compact license accepted at start but permanent Virginia licensure must be obtained promptly
• Experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Ability to fulfill credentialing and contract quality assurance requirements prior to assignment start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a high-volume outpatient clinic environment
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary therapy team
