Key Responsibilities

• Provide charge RN-level nursing care in a high-volume Emergency Department serving pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Manage patient assignments and workflow in a 20-bed ED averaging approximately 100 patients per day with 20–30 EMS ambulance arrivals daily
• Deliver care in a Level III Trauma Center, Chest Pain Accredited, and Stroke Receiving Center environment
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5 while ensuring quality, safety, and continuity of care throughout the night shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across a full-service facility offering a broad range of specialty services

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, hands-on Emergency Department RN experience
• Ability to work full-time night shift in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency setting
• Demonstrated competency in caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior charge nurse or leadership experience in an emergency department setting
• Experience working in a Level III Trauma Center or similarly accredited facility
• Familiarity with Chest Pain, Stroke, or Trauma protocols and workflows
