Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics (NICU/PICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every other weekend (Sunday at minimum) and holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within NICU and PICU settings under a night shift schedule
• Adhere to every-other-weekend and holiday scheduling requirements, including Sunday shifts
• Float within the hospital as needed, potentially including an additional campus location
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation; Epic charting experience preferred
• Complete an onsite background check and fingerprinting on the first day of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy, specifically within NICU/PICU
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Valid Ohio Single-State or Multi-State Respiratory Therapy License required at time of submission
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Supervisor reference from within the past 2 years required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; candidates within 50 miles will be classified as local and local rates will apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Prior travel/contract assignment experience in a pediatric acute care setting
• Familiarity with high-acuity NICU and PICU patient populations
