Key Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by a supervising Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care to support functional independence in daily activities
- Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals and outcomes
- Maintain current COTA licensure and adhere to applicable state and professional practice standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential through NBCOT
- Valid Michigan state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Ability to work day shift hours
- Ability to fulfill contract assignment requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a contract or travel therapy role
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
