Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a focus on orthopedic and bariatric patient populations
• Administer and manage medications using the Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Document patient care and clinical information accurately using EPIC EMR
• Float to like units or nearby facilities as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN License (or compact license accepted per state guidelines)
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience with EPIC EMR
• Minimum 2 years of overall RN experience; first-time travelers must have a minimum of 3 years of experience within the specialty
• Must reside more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with orthopedic and/or bariatric patient populations
• Prior telemetry unit experience
• Travel nursing experience with familiarity of pre-assignment onboarding processes
