Contract | Full-Time | Evenings, 3x12-Hour Shifts (14:30–03:00) | Weekends Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a large, high-volume Emergency Department managing patients ranging from low to high acuity, including stroke, STEMI, trauma, critically ill, and behavioral health presentations
• Support acute care boarding within the ED as needed
• Utilize Epic for all clinical documentation and charting
• Float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility as required by assignment needs
• Commit to working a minimum of 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Submit all time-off requests and scheduling preferences at the time of submittal, prior to offer

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted with this experience level)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years required during compliance process prior to start
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or high-acuity ED environment
• Familiarity with stroke, STEMI, and trauma protocols
• Experience with pediatric emergency patients
• Flexibility with scheduling, including holidays and floating assignments
