Travel Registered Nurse – Orthopedic

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Orthopedic/Neurology unit maintaining an RN-to-patient ratio of 5:1
- Care for patients undergoing total joint procedures (knee, hip, and shoulder) and spine surgery
- Utilize orthopedic equipment including immobilizers, braces, and cold treatment devices
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs, patient care technicians, and unit secretaries
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience with solid Medical/Surgical background
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality patient experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior Orthopedic and/or Spine experience strongly preferred
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Energetic, empathetic personality with a collaborative team-oriented approach
