Contract | Travel | Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | 26-Week Assignment | Projected Start: October 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an Oncology/Women's Surgical unit with a 1:4 or 1:5 patient ratio
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management
- Assist with or support procedures including occasional pelvic exams, echo, and thoracentesis
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, CNAs, and HUCs across night shift
- Float to other med-surg units on a rare basis as needed
- Work 6 weekend days per schedule; on-call requirements are rare
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Chemo certification — candidates with this credential will be given priority consideration
- Experience on an oncology or women's surgical unit
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
