Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic/Spine unit within a 345-bed, 3-time Magnet-designated facility
• Care for patients undergoing joint replacements, fracture repairs, and spinal injury treatment
• Manage a patient assignment with expected ratios of 1:5 on day shift (ratios may vary by unit)
• Utilize Meditech EMR to document patient care and clinical assessments
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float across units as needed
• Collaborate with RN and CNA team members to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Med/Surg or Orthopedic hospital experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency with or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current ACLS certification
• Chemo Certification (may allow scheduling flexibility across additional units)
• Experience caring for patients with varied acute and chronic medical conditions
