Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Telemetry/Med-Surg unit with patient ratios of 4–5:1
- Monitor patients using a GE Telemetry system and document care using Meditech EMR
- Perform IV and Foley catheter starts as part of routine unit procedures
- Assist with chest tube removal per unit protocols
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CNAs, and sitters across day and night shifts
- Demonstrate initiative and function as an effective team player in a fast-paced telemetry environment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital Telemetry experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for post-operative CABG patients
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Outgoing, team-oriented personality with a willingness to take initiative
