Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting within a high-volume teaching hospital environment
• Rotate through multiple care areas including L&D, circulator, newborn RN, triage, and high-risk antepartum
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to antepartum and intrapartum patients, including high-risk cases
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, teaching hospital environment
• Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience (first-time travelers must have a minimum of 3 years of L&D RN experience)
• Active, permanent California RN license required at time of submission — temporary or pending licenses are not accepted
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
• Flu vaccination required — no exemptions accepted during flu season
• 2 professional references from within the past year required at time of submission; must be from a supervisor or above (Charge RN references not accepted)
• Local candidates are welcome — no radius rule applies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-risk antepartum setting
• Previous experience in a teaching hospital environment
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to float across multiple L&D-related roles
