Contract | Days | Four 10-hour varying shifts (shifts range from 0530–1600, 0630–1700, and 0730–1800) | On-call requirement includes approximately one call shift per week and one call weekend every 3–4 weeks with a 30-minute response time; clinician may be placed on a mandate list to cover vacant call shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor conscious sedation during cardiac and vascular procedures in the Cath Lab
• Circulate in a sterile environment across a high-volume department averaging approximately 30 patients per day across 8 fluoroscopy rooms and 2 procedural rooms
• Perform nursing duties for a broad range of procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, PCIs, temporary and permanent pacemakers, ICDs, EP procedures, TEEs, cardioversions, venous ablations, and peripheral vascular angiograms
• Utilize department equipment including Pyxis, Epic, XIM (Philips monitoring system), Xcelera, ultrasound, Angiojets, EKOS machines, and Acist contrast injection systems
• Maintain a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio throughout procedures
• Badge in and out at the facility for every shift as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in South Dakota or a Compact state
• Active AHA BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Graduate of an approved nursing program
• Must live within 80 miles of the facility to be eligible for local placement consideration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Graduation from an NLN or AACN accredited nursing program strongly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Familiarity with Epic, Philips XIM, Xcelera, or similar cardiac monitoring and charting platforms
• Prior experience with EP procedures, pacemaker implantation, or peripheral vascular interventions
