Travel LVN/LPN – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Expected 48 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician
- Monitor and document patient condition, vital signs, and response to treatment
- Administer medications and treatments as directed and within scope of practice
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active LVN or LPN license in the state of Louisiana or a compact-eligible state
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a telemetry or step-down unit
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
