Contract | Full-Time | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | All Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Accurately document patient information and care activities using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Fulfill weekend and some holiday shift commitments as required by the department

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• CPR certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC or TNS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be available to work all weekends and some holidays
• New graduates are not eligible for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 4 or more years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Strong familiarity with high-acuity emergency patient populations
