Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Step Down / Intermediate Care / Progressive Care Unit setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring an intermediate level of care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
• Administer medications, interpret telemetry, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC EMR
• Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
• Complete all required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Step Down / IMC / PCU experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience required
• No first-time travelers; prior travel nursing experience required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 50–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates residing under 50 miles are not eligible (Night Shift – Progressive Care exception applies)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Strong critical thinking skills in a fast-paced intermediate care environment
• Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and pre-assignment module completion
