Key Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and functional improvement
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of North Carolina
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Ability to work day shift hours
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in any care setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
