Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of individualized physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe functional activities
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of North Carolina
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior clinical experience as a PTA in a relevant care setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and multidisciplinary team members
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
