Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (4:00 PM – 4:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care within an LDRP setting, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum support
• Perform triage, circulate, and monitor patients using Philips fetal monitoring with wireless capability
• Assist with and support procedures including C-sections, external versions, and circumcisions
• Operate Panda warmers with built-in Neo-Puff and utilize the OB Hemorrhage Cart as needed
• Care for patients in a Level 1 nursery and Level 1 OB/delivery unit at staffing ratios of 1:2 couplets
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as required — floating is 100% required of all travelers

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — must be in hand prior to start date (temporary license may be acceptable if permanent license application has been submitted)
• Minimum 18 months of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ALS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (Advanced Fetal Monitoring also acceptable)
• Nursing degree from a program accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation
• Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Indiana residents are considered local and are eligible for this position at the applicable in-state rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience as an LDRP nurse strongly preferred
• Telemetry and nursery experience preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
