Anesthesia Technician – Surgical Services

Contract | Days | 5x8s (11:00–19:00) or 4x10s (11:00–21:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia technician support within a surgical services department
• Adhere to assigned shift schedule; some weekend coverage may be required
• Call coverage is not anticipated but may occasionally be needed
• Floating to a nearby sister facility may be required as part of the assignment
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician
• Previous travel contract experience required
• Active BLS certification required
• Valid compact nursing/allied health license must be in hand at time of submission
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard travel rates; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a lower rate
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large acute care or hospital-based surgical services environment
• Demonstrated ability to float between facilities and adapt to varying team environments
• Strong familiarity with surgical and anesthesia equipment setup and maintenance
