Key Responsibilities
- Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and dobutamine stress echocardiograms in accordance with established practices and procedures
- Assist in transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) procedures
- Provide preliminary diagnostic evaluations and notify cardiologists of examination results
- Consult with cardiologists to establish requirements for non-standard examinations and determine appropriate technical factors
- Participate in call rotation, with a minimum of 10 days per month, including holiday rotation
Required Qualifications
- Experience performing adult echocardiography procedures, including transthoracic, stress, and dobutamine stress echocardiograms
- Ability to assist with transesophageal echocardiography
- Competency in preliminary diagnostic evaluation and results communication
- Availability for call rotation, including holidays, with a minimum of 10 days per month
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience collaborating with cardiologists on non-standard examination protocols
- Familiarity with a variety of echocardiographic modalities and technical parameters
