Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a Critical Access facility, maintaining an expected patient ratio of 1:5
• Participate in on-call rotation, expected once per pay period
• Document patient care and clinical information using Epic electronic health records
• Adhere to scheduling commitments, including working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• May be expected to float to nearby sister facilities as needed per assignment requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical RN experience in a hospital setting
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rates; locals within 50 miles may be considered at an adjusted rate
• Must commit to all requested time off and scheduling preferences prior to submission — post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
• Must be free of Nursys or background check hits, as the facility does not accept candidates with such records
• Two professional references required, covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years (Charge RNs and Leads accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience, though first-time travelers with appropriate hospital experience will be considered
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience working in a Critical Access or small-volume hospital environment
