Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Transplant Progressive Care / Step-Down unit
• Monitor and assess patients requiring an intermediate level of care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans for transplant patients
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols
• Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions, including ACLS protocols when indicated

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Prior experience in a PCU, Step-Down, or IMC setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a transplant or specialty PCU environment
• Familiarity with care protocols specific to transplant patient populations
