Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call requirements to be discussed

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and/or circulate open heart and cardiovascular OR cases
• Support the surgical team in CVOR procedures following facility protocols and standards
• Maintain sterile field and ensure proper handling of instruments and equipment throughout cases
• Complete required facility orientation modules and assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
• Adhere to on-call requirements as discussed with department management

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in surgical services or the applicable specialty
• Active AHA BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active, permanent Ohio state license or valid compact license required and must be in hand at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months is required (co-worker references will not be accepted)
• Must have a clear background check; open cases will not be accepted and license hits are not accepted
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CVOR-specific experience strongly preferred
• Experience circulating open heart cases
• Experience within a single location for the required specialty tenure is preferred, though not required
