Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 5x8 Hours (7:30–16:00) | Every other weekend required | Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide social work services across all areas of the hospital, including potential float between two nearby campuses (less than 2 miles apart)
• Perform discharge planning and care coordination for acute care patients
• Support diverse case management needs across Med/Surg, long length of stay, and emergency department settings
• Document and chart using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient transitions and community resource connections

Required Qualifications

• Master of Social Work (MSW) degree
• Active Washington State Social Work License required — pending licensure not accepted
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience; first-time travelers not accepted — previous travel experience required
• Acute care experience required
• Discharge planning and care coordination experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AIDA EMR experience preferred
• Diverse case management background including Med/Surg, long length of stay (LLOS), and emergency department
• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center environment
