Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 4x10-hour shifts with variable schedule and shared on-call rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care across the full Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Pre-operative Clinic
- Support conscious sedation for special procedures as needed
- Perform nursing assessments incorporating peri-operative education and care
- Recognize and respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
- Float to various outpatient service areas based on departmental needs
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of two years of SSSU, PACU, Pre-op, or Post-op nursing experience
- Strong clinical skills in Pre-op, Post-op, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion
- Ability to participate in a shared on-call rotation for PACU
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with conscious sedation monitoring and management
- Familiarity with endoscopy lab procedures and workflows
- Demonstrated ability to float and adapt across multiple outpatient care settings
