Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist (CVOR CST) – Travel Contract

Contract | Days | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) procedures, including open heart and interventional cardiology cases
• Support a high-volume robotic surgery program and complex thoracic surgery cases
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, and supplies in accordance with surgical protocols
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout all phases of the procedure
• Adhere to facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active CST Certification is mandatory — no exceptions
• Demonstrated CVOR experience is required — no exceptions
• Minimum of 2 prior travel assignments completed
• Ability to work 10-hour day shifts (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity or Level II trauma center environment
• Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Experience supporting open heart or thoracic surgery programs
