Contract | Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Medical Surgical/Telemetry float pool setting across applicable units
• Float to various units based on facility needs
• Accurately document patient care and clinical findings using EPIC electronic health records
• Complete required NIH and stroke education as mandated for acute care RN roles
• Maintain compliance with all unit-specific clinical protocols and standards of care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Virginia license required to be in hand at time of submittal, or proof of a valid compact license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required – must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• EPIC charting experience required
• NIH and stroke education required
• Minimum 1 year of specialty experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry within the last year
• SSN required at time of submittal; one supervisory reference required at submittal
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate as travel candidates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a float pool or multi-unit acute care environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Strong adaptability and ability to transition between units with varying patient populations
