Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Full-Time | Permanent | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a cardiac progressive care unit setting
• Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level cardiac monitoring and intervention
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within specialty programs including transplant, stroke, and chest pain services
• Support and participate in Ventricular Assistive Device (VAD) Program protocols as applicable
• Maintain compliance with unit-specific certifications and clinical competencies including ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 6 months of hire

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a cardiac, PCU, stepdown, or IMC setting
• Familiarity with Ventricular Assistive Device (VAD) care
• Experience working within comprehensive stroke or transplant programs
