Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Full-Time | Direct Hire | Onsite | Days | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
• Support patients within specialized programs including Ventricular Assistive Device, Chest Pain Center, Comprehensive Stroke, and Transplant programs
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate nursing interventions
• Maintain compliance with ACLS and NIH certifications within 6 months of hire
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (field of study: Nursing)
• ADN required; BSN preferred
• Active RN license in the State of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree from an accredited nursing program
• Experience in a cardiac, stepdown, or progressive care unit environment
• Familiarity with Ventricular Assistive Device or Transplant program protocols
