Position Summary:
Ideal Hire is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join a respected healthcare facility in Fort Wayne, IN. This night shift role offers a consistent 36-hour workweek and the opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for respiratory therapy, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team.

Compensation:

• Certified Respiratory Care Practitioner: $23.36 – $35.04/hr

• Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner: $24.72 – $37.07/hr

Incentives:

• Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus

• Up to $5,000 relocation assistance

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care procedures for patients in acute care settings.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans.

• Manage and monitor patients requiring mechanical ventilation and advanced respiratory therapies.

• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and equipment usage.

• Maintain complete and accurate documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC; entry-level certification required.

• Current Indiana State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners.

• Current BLS certification.

• ACLS and NRP certification required within 6 months of hire (if not already obtained).

• PALS and STABLE certifications preferred but not required.

• Ability to take on-call shifts.

• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
