Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists with patient assessments, evaluations, and treatment plans • Conduct patient exercises and modalities, such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation • Document patient progress and communicate with multidisciplinary team members • Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, adhering to infection control protocols • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families • Participate in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field • Certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of [insert state] • Current CPR and First Aid certification • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
