We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated team at Oceanside Center, a skilled nursing facility committed to delivering exceptional rehabilitation care. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in helping our residents recover from illness, injury, or surgery, and regain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of residents to identify communication and swallowing disorders • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, voice, and swallowing needs • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, group therapy, and consultation services to residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams • Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams • Stay up-to-date with best practices, research, and industry developments in speech language pathology

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited institution • Current certification as an SLP by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) • 1+ year of experience in speech language pathology, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting • Strong clinical skills, assessment, and treatment techniques • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing needs

What We Offer:
