We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Technologist to join our CT Scanner department at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. As a Tech - CT, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of CT scanning procedures, including starting IVs, to ensure patient comfort and safety • Operate and maintain GE CT scanners, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues • Utilize EPIC McKesson PACS to manage and prioritize patient imaging • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging services • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance

Required Skills and Experience:

• GE equipment experience preferred, but not required • Will accept new graduates with the right skills and attitude • Minimum 1 year of experience in CT scanning or related field (GE equipment experience an asset) • Strong technical skills and ability to learn new equipment and procedures

Certifications and Licensures:

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification • IEMA (Imaging and Electromagnetic Applications) certification • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Work Schedule:

• 3 - 12 hour shifts available • Shifts: 7a - 7:30p or 7p - 7:30a • Weekend and holiday rotations may be required (discussed during interview process)

Work Environment:

• Located in a busy hospital setting with 640 beds • 5 CT scanners in operation • Normal scrubs dress code
